Residency Program

The privilege to teach neurology is one of our department's greatest priorities.

Thank you very much for your interest in the Adult Neurology Residency Program at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Rhode Island Hospital. Under the leadership of our chair, Dr. Karen Furie, the department continues to grow. We have a dynamic group of faculty representing all major subspecialties of neurology. Rhode Island Hospital is the largest hospital in the state and serves as the tertiary referral center for most neurological conditions. In addition to receiving robust clinical training, our residents are actively involved in clinical research, community engagement, advocacy at the local and national level, and teaching at The Warren Alpert Medical School. We are very proud of the training our residents receive.

We live and train in the historic, vibrant city of Providence, Rhode Island. After learning more about our program, I hope you agree that there are a lot of big things happening here in the smallest state.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Cahill headshot
