The Center combines the hospital's high quality neurological services and exceptional neuropsychologic and psychiatric services, providing a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment center for patients with memory disorders.
We offer coordinated care from a multidisciplinary team of specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, psychiatry, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.
Rhode Island Hospital is the only hospital in the state to have a critical care service dedicated to the treatment of neurological patients.
Our team works closely with patients, their family members, and primary care physicians to coordinate care and provide the best possible comprehensive MS care to their patients.
Our department provides subspecialty services with the EMG/NCS Laboratory, Adult Muscular Dystrophy (MDA) Clinic, and the Louise Wilcox ALS Clinic.
Our physicians have expertise in oncology, neurology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neuroradiology and neuropathology.
